Some of the top Beats headphones you can get are the Beats Studio Buds Case. The Buds have undoubtedly the greatest sounding earphones the company has ever produced. They sound amazing, are comfy to wear, and offer active noise cancellation. However, they lack Apple’s H1 Wireless Chip and have poor call quality.

Two-Minute Evaluation Beats Studio Buds Case
Until its mid-2021 release, the Beats Studio Buds Case were one of Apple’s worst-kept secrets. Celebrity athletes wore them when they were out and about, and months in advance, images and technical data concerning them were released. Before they were ever launched, almost everyone was aware of these earphones. We were nevertheless astonished by how excellent they were when they came.
The Beats Studio Buds are a set of incredibly durable true wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation and compatibility for Apple’s Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos format. They have excellent audio and a dynamic sound quality that brings out the highs and lows of your music. They also feel really comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. After its launch, Apple released an update that

These are not flawless despite being some of the best true wireless earphones. Their poor call quality and absence of an H1 Wireless Chip are among its worst flaws. Just five hours of battery life are available with either the ANC or Transparent mode activated (15 hours with the case), and its noise cancelling isn’t exactly best in class.
Yet these are some of the top Beats headphones available right now. They provide a respectable alternative to the current market leader in true wireless earbuds, the Sony WF-1000XM4, which you can read more about in our review. We examine comparable high-end earbuds in our study of the Sennheiser CX True Wireless.
While for a while they were our favourite Beats wireless earbuds, the Beats Fit Pro are a somewhat more comfortable and sound-improving alternative. Also, they have the H1 chip, which the Studio Buds regrettably do not.
After thoroughly evaluating these fantastic true wireless earbuds, we offer all the information you need to know in the Beats Studio Buds review below, including their design, performance, and who they’re best suited for.
Cost and accessibility of Beats Studio Buds Case
. Date of publication: June 24, 2021.
$149.99, £129.99, or AU$199.95 is the cost
. Superior to the AirPods and more affordable than the AirPods Pro
On June 24, 2021, the Beats Studio Buds went on sale for $149.99, £129.99, or AU$199.95. These are now considerably less expensive than Apple’s most recent AirPods, about which you may read our Apple AirPods review. Moreover, there are the $249, £249, or $399 Apple AirPods Pro with active noise cancellation, which we think are superior to the basic AirPods.
Read our Apple AirPods Pro review to learn more about Apple’s premium earphones, which you may be willing to spend extra for. If you often use Apple products and are not on a strict budget, these could make more sense. You should also take into account the Beats Fit Pro, a comparable set of true wireless earbuds with Apple’s newest H1 processor inside and a better fit for exercising.
As an alternative, there are far less expensive genuine wireless earphones available. To discover alternative less expensive solutions, see our reviews of the Lypertek PurePlay Z3 2.0 and the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 Plus. Yet the Beats Studio Buds are a shockingly decent deal if you want to use them with an Apple smartphone.
Design using Beats Studio Buds
Both the case and the buds are compact and portable. The buds look nice and fit in the ears easily.
The Beats Studio Buds come in a casing that is virtually as sleek and compact as the earbuds themselves, in contrast to Beats’ previous true wireless earbuds, which you can read about in our review of the Beats Powerbeats Pro. The egg-shaped housing has a single USB-C connector on the bottom and a status LED on the front, similar to the new Google Pixel Buds Series-A.
The earphones are inside if you crack it open. You squeeze the outside control panel and pull them up to remove them.
Without either over-ear hooks or a fin that presses on the outer ear, the elevated control panel makes it easier for the buds to fit securely in the ear. The buds then fit practically flush with the ear, and despite the fact that you can’t wear them while you sleep because they protrude too much, they are still really pleasant.
The Beats Studio Buds are sweat-resistant but not waterproof because they have an IPX4 rating for water resistance. That means you can bring them with you to the gym for a brief exercise, but without the earhooks, they are a bit less secure, and since they aren’t completely waterproof, you shouldn’t bring them to the beach.
The bundle includes extra eartips and a USB-C to USB-C charging cord. Although there are just two more sizes available and all of the accompanying eartips are silicone rather than foam, most users should have all they need to have a decent seal and fit.
Noise-cancelling and sound quality features of Beats Studio Buds
Very enjoyable sound quality with lots of energy.
Although a wonderful feature, active noise cancelling needs improvement.
Although a wonderful feature, active noise cancelling needs improvement.
Call quality is adequate but not outstanding.
It’s time to switch on the earphones and give them a try after you’ve found the perfect fit. For testing, we connected them to an iPhone 11 Pro and launched Apple Music, which now supports Lossless Audio and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos.
Although Bluetooth compression affects the lossless aspect of the music, you can still use the Beats Studio Buds to play tracks using Spatial Audio. And it sounds fantastic. Nevertheless, you won’t be able to enjoy the full benefit of Lossless Audio with them.
The Studio Buds feature a dynamic sound quality that enhances both the high and low end of the mix. In contrast to earlier Beats earbuds and headphones that blasted you with pounding bass.
Studio Buds Feature a Dynamic Sound Quality that Enhances Both
the high and low end of the mix. In contrast to earlier Beats earbuds and headphones that blasted you with pounding bass. The end effect is foot-tapping, head-bobbing music that keeps you interested for extended stretches of time without tiring you out.
Although Beats still needs to do some catching up to do to catch up with the likes of Sony and Bose. Who each have years of experience experimenting with the design, processor, and noise cancellation algorithm. To ensure their Buds keep the maximum amount of noise out of your ears. The noise-cancelling feature of the earbuds is a fantastic inclusion and operates pretty well.
In light of this, it appears like the Beats Studio Buds Case will make an excellent workplace companion, reducing the monotonous din of office talk while likely struggling to be heard over loud noises like aircraft engines and subway car rattles. Of course, it’s been a while since we’ve been on either due to lockdown limitations. So that’s something we’ll have to explore in the future.
Regrettably, there is room for improvement in the call quality. Walking around the house with these on is OK. But once you step outdoors where there is wind, traffic, and other ambient noise. You’ll fast wish you were wearing a different set of earbuds.
